Who writes this

I'm Denis, a software engineer based in Berlin. I'm building Synapse, a local-first study app, to support my own studies; this blog collects notes from that work.

What powers it

This blog is a static site built with SvelteKit. Posts are plain Markdown files compiled by mdsvex, with code highlighted by shiki, and the styles come from the same small design system that powers Synapse itself. Both the source and this built site are hosted on Tangled, a git collaboration platform built on the AT Protocol.

On AI

English is not my first language, so I use AI as a proofreader: to correct grammar and improve awkward phrasing. That is the extent of it. The ideas, the opinions, and the writing itself are mine.
